oh my gosh...LOVE the quality of these toys. They are simply gorgeous, and would never have to worry about the boys getting splinters. Seems almost a waste to give them to them... they won't appreciate the beauty.

Natural toys are so much better, they have tactile advantages, give the kids appreciation for handmade, encourages wonderment at how they are made, out of what, and why. Brings out the artistic in the child. I like everything about these toys!!!
ReplyDeleteThe cow family is so sweet:)
wow! i love the teethers! super talented!

The element of touch and feeling the material wood, is very worthwhile and basic to thinking...I am so impressed with these toys and I like the animal family groups very much.

I am pleased that not only is Etsy a company, but it is also a community. Handmade toys, gives a sense of natural beauty, time, and patience to their buyers, that others can't provide. This set of bears is truly beautiful and most unique.
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute! The handmade toys are something the kid's probably won't realise now, but will really appreciate in the future! Following Etsy and blog!

I agree with the over sensory stimulation of todays toys! They are so noisy and blink, and eat batteries. No wonder kids have no attention spans. I really liked the alligator teether. Such pretty wood. And no worry about lead paint from China!
ReplyDeleteI love the natural beauty of the wooden toys.

What I like best about these toys are the vintage look, but more importantly, how they take me back to a time when toys were simple...and not battery-operated. Children should have more toys like these.

The elephant teether, even though as I write this, I see Morgan says so too. The alligator rattle was cute, but the elephant reminds me of my trip to Asia back in the summer.

I have a 4 1/2 month old, and I'm already completely overwhelmed by the amount of plastic "junk" in our home. Wooden toys are treasures, because they will last not only through several children, but also through several generations.
ReplyDeleteI love that they're all wooden! What a fantastic alternative to Plastic, the wooden horse pair is def. my favourite!

i love the attention to detail and commitment to natural-ness, both of the experience playing with the toys and of the construction of the toys:
ReplyDeleteThey are locally handcrafted and only the purest and finest materials possible are used. From the design, which is hand drawn and orientated towards the natural appearance and authenticity of the animal, to the careful processing of the wood and the smooth application of organic beeswax.

ReplyDeleteHello! GREAT giveaway! I've gotta say, what I love most about Biber Toys is the dimension in the animals! So many toymakers stop at sort of flat-looking silhouettes, but Biber toys are tapered more realistically -- gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity! :)
